Hosting services
Thirty days, no questions, on hosting.
Shared, WordPress, reseller and VPS plans carry a thirty-day money-back guarantee from the date of the first invoice. Open a ticket and we process the refund to the original payment method, typically within five working days. There is no form to complete and no retention call.
Domain registrations and transfers
Domains cannot be refunded, by anyone.
Registrations, transfers and renewals are non-refundable. Once a domain is registered the registry fee is spent and cannot be reversed by us or by anyone else. This is a constraint of how domains work rather than a policy choice, and it applies at every registrar.
Third-party products
Depends on whether the supplier will refund us.
Paid SSL certificates, control panel licences and similar third-party products are refundable only where the supplier permits it and only within their window. We will tell you the applicable terms before you purchase rather than afterwards.
Renewals
Renewals get a short window too.
If a hosting renewal is charged and you no longer want the service, contact us within seven days and we will refund it. Auto-renew can be disabled at any time from the client area, and we send renewal notices in advance precisely so this situation is avoidable.
Custom work and dedicated builds
Custom work is quoted and billed separately.
Bespoke development, migration work beyond what your plan includes, and custom dedicated server builds are quoted individually and are not covered by the standard guarantee. Refund terms for those are stated in the quotation before you accept it.
Exclusions
Abuse is the one case we will not refund.
Refunds are not available where an account is terminated for breach of our Acceptable Use Policy, or where there is evidence of repeated sign-ups intended to obtain successive guarantee periods.
